Activities you can keep, in a file you own.
Booklet is an open format for learning and reflection. A booklet is one plain text file that holds the activities and everything you write in them. No account, no server.
One file holds everything
A booklet is a Markdown file that ends in .booklet.md. It reads as ordinary text: headings, what there is to read, and the questions. What you answer is kept at the end of the same file. You can email it, print it, sync it, open it in Obsidian or any text editor, or hand it to a language model. It is only text, so it lasts.
Small activities you can pick up and put down
An activity is a module: a daily journal, a decision log, an end-of-day check. Add them to a booklet one at a time and take them out again. Use the same module in two booklets and each keeps its own answers.
Your work stays yours
Nothing is uploaded to Booklet. It runs in your browser, and your booklets live there or in a file you save yourself. There is no Booklet account, and we cannot read your files.
Open, and easy to write for
The format is open and written down in plain language, with a checker that tells you when a booklet is valid. It is plain enough to write by hand, and the renderer will open it. The code is Apache-2.0.
